As a designer based in NYC, I see my practice at the intersection of biodesign, emerging production methods, & craft.

Born in the US Virgin Islands, I was raised by a Nevisian family that understood the healing power of nourishing the earth because it could (surprisingly) reward you with food. During graduate school, I found inspiration in organisms like algae, crafting my thesis around the power of nutrition and ritual-based objects. My work seeks answers to how we might build bodies, homes, and tools in ways that are beneficial for ourselves and the ecosystems we depend on. I believe that nature can help us optimize in ways we've been too rigid to try.

I've been excited to work with rising manufacturing technologies like 3D knitting, additive manufacturing, and micro-factories processing Post Industrial HPDE off Manhattan's coast, creating forms responsive to both ecological and human needs.

My design language is inspired by the incomparable Luigi Colani, the Art Nouveau movement, & Science Fiction, which I gained from a powerful love for reading as a child (and even now). If you're interested in collaborating, or if there's a project you think I’m right for, I’d love to hear from you!
